University Account Credentials: We collect your university account credentials to manage your research data. The email the user logs in with is linked in our database with his Google Scholar id. This is how we verify if the page he is navigating in Google Scholar has data that relates to him(profile details, publications or citations).

Google Scholar Public Data: The extension allows users to gather their public data from Google Scholar. Users can only access their data and cannot collect information from other profiles.

Facilitate login into the extension with university account credentials. Enable communication between the extension and our server for managing academic data.

Inject relevant information into Google Scholar pages to indicate whether publications or citations are present in the university's database.

Local Storage: User credentials and data are stored locally to maintain login status and preferences.

Server Interaction: Data from Google Scholar is sent to our server to cross-reference with the university's database. No personal data is stored on our server without encryption.
